America’s Next Top Model
Cycle 8 will premiere on Wednesday, February 28 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW, coming on the heels of VH1’s January marathon of the previous seven seasons. The show has made available online its Cycle 9 application for model hopefuls.
Project Runway
The show is currently casting for its fourth season; Bravo TV has made available online its February schedule of reruns of the previous seasons. New York Magazine’s online Fashion division features a Runway section with bios of the series’ designers and photos of their fashion shows.
Shear Genius
Bravo TV’s new reality show will premiere this spring. Hosted by designer and former Charlie’s Angels actress Jaclyn Smith, the show’s participants will compete to be named top hairstylist. Current Vine will publish brief recaps of the show once the series debuts.
Books
Bobbi Brown, founder and CEO of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, has released Living Beauty, a how-to book that applies her famously natural makeup approach to women over 40. The book includes essays by celebrities including Susan Sarandon and Lorraine Bracco.
