America’s Next Top Model
Cycle 8 premiered with a two-hour show on The CW on Wednesday, February 28. Creator and host Tyra Banks was joined once again by judges Jay Manuel, J. Alexander, Nigel Barker, and former supermodel Twiggy.
The contestants are vying for a contract with Elite Model Management, a contract with CoverGirl, and a cover and six-page spread in Seventeen magazine.
The first crop of hopefuls was whittled down to 13 contestants after “fashion boot camp.” The first shoot of the season, in which the women portrayed battling political views, ended with Kathleen’s elimination.
