America’s Next Top Model
Last month the girls were shot modeling swimsuits for both female and male audiences, and performing aboriginal dances. Brittany and Dionne were cut, respectively.
The top three—Jaslene, Natasha, and Renée—shot an ad for CoverGirl’s Lipshine Lip Color and a “My Life as a CoverGirl” commercial; Cycle 7 winner CariDee made a special appearance to coach the girls. Renée was eventually cut.
After the final two did a cover shoot for Seventeen magazine and walked in a runway fashion show, Jaslene was named America’s Next Top Model.
Project Runway
While awaiting Season 4, viewers can visit Bravo TV’s Runway page, which now includes this summer’s schedule of reruns, a Season 3 behind-the-scenes photo gallery, and a look back at Season 3 through the eyes of fashion guide Tim Gunn.
Bravo has also introduced a new Runway-focused companion page, Fashion Forward. The page includes Forward Headlines, which provide news on previous contestants through blog entries and Q & A sessions.
Shear Genius
Last month the elimination challenges were to create a red carpet hairstyle for Vanessa Williams, re-create styles from various eras, pair up to do bridal hair, and style for a Matthew Rolston photoshoot. Evangelin, Danna, Tyson and Tabatha, and Dr. Boogie were sent home, respectively.
The top three—Anthony, Ben, and Daisy—competed in the final challenge of creating three different hairstyles that told one cohesive story. After being assessed by the panel, which included guest judge and hairstyling legend Vidal Sassoon, Anthony was named Shear Genius.
