Fashion Week to Debut Spring 2008 Collections; Fashion Rocks to Air
New York City’s world-famous, bi-annual Fashion Week will open on Wednesday, September 5 in Bryant Park and will conclude on Wednesday, September 12. The hotly anticipated, closely watched event features the spring 2008 collections of over 60 designers, as well as accessories collections.
Featured designers will include Anne Klein, Betsey Johnson, Nanette Lepore, Badgley Mischka, Peter Som, and Zac Posen.
To celebrate Fashion Week, the fourth annual Fashion Rocks concert at Radio City Music Hall will again bring together the inextricably linked worlds of fashion and music. Hosted by Jeremy Piven, the event will air on CBS on Friday, September 7 at 9 p.m. EST; performers include Aerosmith, Maroon 5, and Alicia Keys.
