MoMA Presents Independent Film Exhibition
MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) is hosting an exhibition, “Best Film Not Playing at a Theater Near You,” through Monday, November 19.
The five films, nominees for the BFNPTNY Award, are “this year’s best American independent films on the festival circuit that have yet to be picked up for theatrical distribution.” They will be judged by a MoMA film curator and senior editorial members of Filmmaker, a publication by Independent Feature Project (IFP).
