Causes Spotlighted by Kenneth Cole “Awearness” Blog and Tees
Designer Kenneth Cole has been a longtime supporter of various charitable efforts; currently, he is Chairman of amfAR’s Board of Trustees. His company’s Awearness Fund, which distributes funds to organizations including amFAR and Help USA, has recently unveiled the Awearness blog and T-shirt collection.
The blog discusses the news of the day in relation to four categories: Social Rights, Well-Being, Political Landscape, and Hard Times. The tees carry a variety of social messages; $10 from the sale of each one goes to the Fund.
“Through the Awearness Fund,” says Cole on his site, “we will seek to continue to raise awareness for various socially relevant issues, stimulate public debate, and provide inspiration and opportunities for our communities to get involved and give back.”
