Mamma Mia! Moves from Stage to Screen
Mamma Mia! is the big-screen adaptation of the musical that features the music of ABBA. Donna (Meryl Streep) is about to marry off her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), who wants to find out who her father is so he can walk her down the aisle. Behind her mother’s back, she invites the three likely candidates (Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Stellen Skarsgard) to the wedding in the hopes of solving the puzzle. Also starring Christine Baranski and Julie Walters. Opening Friday, July 18.
