Daniel Silva at Borders: July 23

Daniel Silva will visit the Wall Street Borders on Wednesday, July 23 at 1 p.m. to discuss Moscow Rules, his latest thriller starring Gabriel Allon, art-restorer and former agent. Allon travels to Russia and winds up trying to put a stop Ivan Kharkov, a former KGB agent, from selling weapons to terrorists. The novel will be published on July 22.


Trailer for The X-Files: I Want to Believe

The X-Files: I Want to Believe, the second movie based on the TV series, is a standalone story that is not a sequel to the first film. Nothing has been revealed about the top-secret plot; audiences only know that FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) join forces once again to investigate the paranormal.

How To Look Good Naked, Season Two

Style expert and TV personality Carson Kressley returns to host the second season of How To Look Good Naked, which premieres on Tuesday, July 22 at 10 p.m. EST on Lifetime. Based on the British series of the same name, the show features insecure women of various ages, weights, and body shapes. In each episode, Kressley spends a week with his guest, proving that her self-image is distorted and helping her find clothing that flatters her assets. Each episode ends with a glamorous, tastefully nude photoshoot.

Project Runway’s Jay McCarroll Designs Charity Shirt

Jay McCarroll, Project Runway’s first winner, has designed men’s and women’s T-shirts to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, which raises money for childhood cancer research. Five dollars from every shirt sold will go to the foundation.

Mamma Mia! Moves from Stage to Screen

Mamma Mia! is the big-screen adaptation of the musical that features the music of ABBA. Donna (Meryl Streep) is about to marry off her daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), who wants to find out who her father is so he can walk her down the aisle. Behind her mother’s back, she invites the three likely candidates (Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan, Stellen Skarsgard) to the wedding in the hopes of solving the puzzle.
