Help Charities While Shopping with GoodShop.com
GoodShop allows Web surfers to help their favorite charities while going about their regular online shopping through the sites of such stores as Best Buy, the Apple Store, and Target.
Simply put a keyword into the charity field to see what is offered (e.g., “animal” will result in a list of the many animal foundations affiliated with the site). Once you’ve chosen a charity, simply shop as usual and GoodShop donates a portion of your purchase to your cause.
The project is an off-shoot of GoodSearch.com, the search engine powered by Yahoo! that donates approximately one cent to users’ charities of choice as they go about their regular surfing.
