Photobook Fights Breast Cancer and Abuse
June 7 is National Cancer Survivors Day and June is Child Abuse Awareness Month—honor both occasions with The Pink Project, a charity photobook that has raised money for the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN) and the Los Angeles Breast Cancer Alliance (LABCA) since its publication in 2007.
With a foreword by Tori Amos, co-founder of RAINN, the book features photographs of celebrities including Daryl Hannah, Mariska Hargitay, Milo Ventimiglia, and Dita Von Teese. Also included are poetry, quotes, and statistics and other information on breast cancer and sexual assault.
