Candace Bushnell and Jennifer Weiner at the 92nd Street Y: September 8
Authors and friends Candace Bushnell (Sex and the City; Lipstick Jungle) and Jennifer Weiner (Good in Bed; In Her Shoes) will participate in “Sex and the City and Best Friends Forever,” an event at the 92nd Street Y, on Tuesday, September 8 at 8:15 p.m. In addition to discussing writing, the authors will also engage in good old-fashioned girl talk. Candace Bushnell’s most recent novel was One Fifth Avenue (Voice, 2008), which centers on the social and financial trials of five Manhattan women living in the same building.
Jennifer Weiner’s recently released Best Friends Forever (Atria, 2009) follows Valerie and Addie, childhood best friends who grew apart as teens. They reconnect in adulthood when Valerie shows up at Addie’s home in need of help.
