Stella McCartney will visit Barneys New York on Tuesday, May 5 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. to discuss her new autumn/winter collection with Barneys’ Creative Director and fashion commentator Simon Doonan. Attendees can enjoy a pre-sale of the collection from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Polo Ralph Lauren and Salon Ziba have teamed up to create Styles for Miles, an event to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Men and women will be offered exclusive hair and spa treatments: $15 manicures; $35 shampooing and styling; and $45 shampooing, cutting, and styling. 100% of the proceeds will go to the cause.
Evite.com has paired with Bravo TV to create special Evites to benefit the planet. Through Sunday, May 31, the two companies will donate $1 to the National Audubon Society each time these Evites are sent. The National Audubon Society works to conserve and restore natural ecosystems.
Bravo premieres its new competitive series, The Fashion Show, on Thursday, May 7 at 10:00 p.m. Fifteen professional designers will compete to win a $125,000 prize and sell their wares in the retail market. They will be judged by celebrated designer Isaac Mizrahi, who will co-host the series; singer/actress Kelly Rowland, who will co-host with Mizrahi; and Fern Mallis, Senior Vice President of IMG Fashion. At the very end of the competition, viewers at home will get to decide who will win.

Actor and author Eric Bogosian will visit the Union Square Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss his latest novel, Perforated Heart, in which a writer reflects on his life after stumbling upon the journals he wrote as a young man. Visit the B&N event page for details.
Bogosian has appeared on Broadway and in numerous movies and television shows; he can currently be seen on USA’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Captain Danny Ross. Below, watch a clip of him performing at the Bowery Poetry Club in New York City.
