Alexander McCall Smith will visit the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. to dicuss Tea Time for the Traditionally Built, the 10th book in Alexander McCall Smith’s No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency mystery series. In this installment, private investigator Precious Ramotswe is asked to find a possible traitor who’s throwing the local football team’s games, all the while dealing with personal drama. Asian Americans Take Center Stage in Secret Identities

Secret Identities: The Asian American Superhero Anthology (The New Press) is the first comic short story collection to center on Asian American superheroes. Edited by Jeff Yang, Parry Shen, Keith Chow, and Jerry Ma, the collection includes such contributors as Gene Yang (American Born Chinese), Bernard Chang (Wonder Woman), Greg Pak (The Hulk), Christine Norrie (Black Canary Wedding Special), and Tak Toyoshima (Secret Asian Man). Secret Identities hits shelves on Wednesday, April 15.

Kristin Chenoweth Visits Barnes & Noble: April 15

Singer and actress Kristin Chenoweth will visit the Lincoln Triangle Barnes & Noble on Wednesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. to present her autobiography A Little Bit Wicked: Life, Love, and Faith in Stages. The Tony-winner originated the role of Galinda in the Broadway musical Wicked and has appeared in the movie Four Christmases as well as on TV series including Pushing Daisies and The West Wing.
