The site’s database contains directories by charity name and by celebrity name; a general cause directory (e.g., “abuse,” “environment,” or “poverty”) will turn up a list of relevant charities and celebrities who support it.

Help Cancer Survivors with Will Ferrell Sunscreen

Actor/comedian Will Ferrell has launched Will Ferrell Sunscreen to help Cancer for College, which supports and inspires cancer survivors. The sunscreen is SPF 30, offers UVA/UVB protection, and comes in thee kinds: Sexy Hot Tan, Sun Stroke, and Forbidden Fruit. All proceeds go to the organization’s Willpowered Scholarship Fund, which grants college scholarships to cancer survivors.

Designer T-Shirts Help Advance Asian Pacific Americans

Anna Sui and Koi Suwannagate have designed limited edition T-shirts to be sold by Nordstrom in honor of May, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month. Nordstrom will donate all after-costs proceeds to the scholarship program of the Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA), which is committed to improving the welfare of Asian Pacific Americans in the United States.
